After the wonderful interview with Alexander Neumann Norwegian Referee, we move to Sweden and meet another professional in the role.
He enjoys a very good appointment and a lot of respect, we are talking about Roger NILSSON.
1) Hi Roger thank you very much for accepting our interview. How are you first of all and how are you experiencing this moment? Introduce yourself to our readers, who is Roger NILSSON in life, besides being a great Referee?
1. Hey im very well and bean grateful to participate my thoughts from the swedish super league for females. Im 47 years old who lives in Arvika close to the norwegian border. I work with logistics.
2) How did you find out about Floorball? Have you had any Player experience? When did you decide to become a referee?
2. In 91 we where some friends who start play floorball in the winter as a compliment to football, two years later we start to play in a low league. I was goalie from the beginning and after that i become trainer. In 2011 i decided to test my referee skills :) I enjoyed it directly. Floorball is a lovely sport, fast and technical.
3) How does it feel to referee one of the best floorball championships in the world?
Who do you pair with? What is your partner like?
And you, as a couple, are you open to discussions with the Players or are you more detached on the pitch?
3. It feel great to be a part of the best league for females in the world. I have a new partner in Thomas Jonsson from Umeå this session and we have find eachother good. We have to work on but we enjoying it. We are a calm couple with lot of empaty for the teams and the game. We love to spread that we have fun out there. We are very open for discussions and try to lead the match that way.
4) Which game gave you the most trouble refereeing? Instead, which match do you remember with more pleasure?
What is the most difficult decision as a referee couple you have made?
4. Sometimes there come games where you dont have the perfect timing but i have no specific game. One play off game in Nacka with outsold arena and a thight game is one good memory. One though decision in a broadcast Eurosport game there we decide to change one penalty shoot to face off.
5) How do you mentally and physically prepare an important match to referee?
5. Good plans, great sleep, i drive 15000km in car every season and i have to plan my weekends carefully. 90 minutes we arrive to the arena, always warm up outside, the last 30 minutes good music and clear the head for game.
6) During the matches with other referees from other nations, what are the differences you notice in terms of interpretation of the rules?
6. Unfortunately my time to follow other leagues isnt enough, i think the differences is little. That was a great question by the way!!

7) What is the most common foul in the Swedish league? And why?
7. Incorrect hit of the stick, we always try to play on advantage so far it goes.
8) Male or Female which is the most difficult match to manage and why?
8. There are some differences and the male games is more physical and verbal often, but both games have their difficults. In 90 procentage of the time i referee in the female ssl league
9) How do you manage a match between these teams that I now list? Falun- Storvreta - Pixbo Wallenstam, which of these teams is more challenging? Because?
9. Some teams are more difficult then others, you have to study their play system and try different approaches in communication and try to learn the whole time.
10) Last question. Let's play a game, in the 59th minute of a match, what would you never want to whistle? And why?
I'll list three situations:
1) Penalty
2) Expulsion
3) Goal canceled
10. Oh that was a tough one but i have no problem to take the decision who requires even if the clock stands 59.59.
I start referee 37 years old and 7 years later i was in SSL so its never to late to start. Dont forget that you are never better than your last performance!!
And train hard off season and came prepared..thank you for this opportunity and I apologize for the english skills 😀😁

Gode di buonissima nomina e di molto rispetto, stiamo parlando di Roger NILSSON.
1) Ciao Roger grazie mille per aver accettato la nostra intervista. Come stai innanzitutto e come stai vivendo questo momento? Presentati ai nostri lettori, chi è Roger NILSSON nella vita, oltre che essere un grande Arbitro?
1. Ehi, sto molto bene e sono molto grato di partecipare e di dire la mia dalla Super League svedese alla femmine. Ho 47 anni e vivo ad Arvika, vicino al confine con la Norvegia. Lavoro con la logistica.
2) Come hai conosciuto il Floorball? Hai avuto esperienze da Giocatore? Quando hai deciso di diventare Arbitro?
2. Nel 91 dove alcuni amici iniziano a giocare a floorball in inverno come complementare al calcio, due anni dopo iniziamo a giocare in un campionato basso. Fin dall'inizio sono stato portiere e poi sono diventato allenatore.
Nel 2011 ho deciso di mettere alla prova le mie capacità di arbitro :) Mi sono divertito direttamente. Il floorball è uno sport adorabile, veloce e tecnico.
3) Cosa si prova ad arbitrare uno dei campionati di floorball più bello del mondo?
Con chi fai coppia? Il tuo compagno com'è?
E voi come coppia siete aperti al colloquio Conno Giocatori oppure siete più distaccati in campo?
3. È bello far parte del miglior campionato femminile al mondo. Ho un nuovo partner in Thomas Jonsson da Umeå in questa sessione e ci siamo trovati bene. Dobbiamo lavorare ma ci divertiamo. Siamo una coppia tranquilla con molta empatia per le squadre e per il gioco.
Ci piace diffondere che ci divertiamo là fuori. Siamo molto aperti alle discussioni e cerchiamo di condurre la partita in questo modo.
4) Qual'è la partita che vi ha dato più problemi ad arbitrare? Invece qual'è la partita che ricordate con più piacere?
Qual'è la decisione, come coppia Arbitrale, più difficile che avete preso?
4. A volte arrivano giochi in cui non hai il tempismo perfetto ma io non ho un gioco specifico. Una partita di spareggio a Nacka con un'arena venduta e una partita dura è un buon ricordo.
Una decisione però in una partita di Eurosport trasmessa lì, decidiamo di cambiare un tiro di rigore per affrontarlo.
5) Come preparate mentalmente e fisicamente una partita importante da arbitrare?
5. Buoni programmi, ottimo sonno, guido 15000 km in macchina ogni stagione e devo pianificare attentamente i miei fine settimana. 90 minuti arriviamo all'arena, ci riscaldiamo sempre fuori, negli ultimi 30 minuti buona musica e schiarire le idee per il gioco.
6) Durante gli incontri con gli altri arbitri di altre nazioni quali sono le differenze che noti a livello di interpretazioni del regolamento?
6. Purtroppo il mio tempo per seguire altre leghe non è abbastanza, penso che le differenze siano poche. Quella era una grande domanda a proposito !!
7) Qual'è il fallo più ricorrente nella lega Svedese? E perché?
7. Colpo errato del bastone, cerchiamo sempre di giocare in vantaggio fin dove arriva.
8) Maschile o Femminile qual'è la partita più difficile da gestire e perché?
8. Ci sono alcune differenze e il gioco maschile è spesso più fisico e verbale, ma entrambi i giochi hanno le loro difficoltà. Negli anni '90 dell'epoca sono stata arbitro nel campionato ssl femminile
9) Come si gestisce una partita tra queste squadre che ora ti elenco? Falun- Storvreta - Pixbo Wallenstam, quale di queste squadre è più impegnativa? Perché?
9. Alcune squadre sono più difficili di altre, devi studiare il loro sistema di gioco e provare approcci diversi nella comunicazione e cercare di imparare tutto il tempo.
10) Ultima domanda. Facciamo un gioco, al 59 minuto di una partita, cosa non vorresti mai fischiare? E perché?
Ti elenco tre situazioni:
1) Rigore
2) Espulsione
3) Gol annullato
10. Oh è stata dura ma non ho problemi a prendere la decisione che richiede anche se l'orologio segna 59.59.
Inizio arbitro a 37 anni e 7 anni dopo ero in SSL, quindi non è mai troppo tardi per iniziare. Non dimenticare che non sei mai migliore della tua ultima performance !!
E mi sono allenato duramente fuori stagione e sono venuto preparato..grazie per questa opportunità e mi scuso per la conoscenza dell'inglese 😀😁
