Today we take you to Serbia, where floorball is still young as a sport, but where there is a great desire to grow and to take our sport to great levels.
We met Husar Lacika and his Alligators, of which he is their coach, with whom, exchanging a few words, we immediately understood that we are a great lover of this splendid sport.
Oggi vi portiamo in Serbia, dove il floorball è ancora giovane come Sport, ma dove c'è tanta voglia di crescere e di portare il nostro sport a grandi livelli.
Abbiamo conosciuto Husar Lacika ed i suoi Alligator, di cui ne è allenatore, con il quale scambiando due parole abbiamo capito subito essere un grande amante di questo splendido sport.

2) Lacika is a husband, a father of three kids and a worker. Big fan of the sport in general and huge lover of the sport. Coach of young categories in Serbia.

3) Can you tell us how your passion for floorball was born? How was this passion born and how do you manage to bring it and teach it in Serbia?
3) I must emphasize that Djordje Mitrovic, the owner of Alligator, the club by which floorball started to gain popularity in Serbia again, is responsible for my interest in this sport. Dynamics, speed and technique, the ability to develop motor skills, the fact that injury in this sport comes very hard because there are no serious physical contacts, were enough reasons for me to dedicate myself completely to this sport.
3) Ci racconti come nasce la tua passione per il floorball? Come nasce questa passione e come riesci a portarla ed insegnarla in Serbia?
3) Devo sottolineare che Djordje Mitrovic, il proprietario dell'Alligator, il club da cui il floorball ha iniziato a guadagnare di nuovo popolarità in Serbia, è il responsabile del mio interesse per questo sport.
Dinamica, velocità e tecnica, la capacità di sviluppare capacità motorie, il fatto che l'infortunio in questo sport sia molto difficile, perché non ci sono contatti fisici seri, sono stati motivi sufficienti per dedicarmi completamente a questo sport.
4) Tell us how is floorball developing in Serbia? What is being done to make it grow? Does your government recognize floorball as a sport? Do you have top flight championships? Are there men's and women's championships?
4) I say it on purpose again because he arrived in Serbia in 2007, and our national team already recorded participation in the World Cup in 2008. Unfortunately, the very beginning was the zenith of popularity in our country. Despite 6 registered clubs and a league that has lasted several seasons, this sport has not been recognized by our authorities. Faced with financial problems, one by one the clubs went out of business.
Now in Serbia, we have 2 senior clubs whose players are amateurs and 3 clubs that work with children. A strategy was made with the aim of expanding interests and forming clubs at the level of the entire country in a period of 10 years.
4) Dicci come si sta sviluppando il floorball in Serbia? Cosa si sta facendo per farlo crescere? Il vostro governo, riconosce il floorball come disciplina sportiva? Avete campionati di massima serie? Ci sono Campionati maschili e femminili?
4) Lo ripeto apposta perché è arrivato in Serbia nel 2007 e la nostra nazionale ha già registrato la partecipazione ai Mondiali del 2008. Purtroppo, proprio l'inizio è stato l'apice della popolarità nel nostro Paese. Nonostante 6 club iscritti e un campionato che dura da diverse stagioni, questo sport non è stato riconosciuto dalle nostre autorità. Di fronte a problemi finanziari, uno ad uno i club fallirono.
Ora in Serbia abbiamo 2 club senior i cui giocatori sono dilettanti e 3 club che lavorano con i bambini. È stata elaborata una strategia con l'obiettivo di espandere gli interessi e formare club a livello dell'intero paese in un periodo di 10 anni.
5) now let's talk about your Alligators. What team is it? What categories do you have in your company? Which team do you coach? Where is your Headquarters located?
5) In 2018, Djordje came up with the idea to implement this sport through primary schools and thus bring it closer to children. Here we come to the Alligator. About 400 children passed through the club in 2 years of work. Apart from Sombor, where the club's headquarters are, sections have been established in other places, Vrbas, Kula, Odzaci, Srpski Miletic, Bajmok ... This way of functioning was produced by two new clubs, Predator from Vrbas and Red Eagles from Sombor.
In order to maintain the interest of children, tournaments are organized every month, where we had the opportunity to host hockey clubs. This year, we even managed to turn teams from other places into teams and hold a league during which the children managed to play over 50 games in a period of three months.
5) ora parliamo dei tuoi Alligator. Che squadra è? Quali categorie avete nella vostra società? Tu quale squadra alleni? Dove si trova il vostro Quartier Generale?
5) Nel 2018, Djordje ha avuto l'idea di implementare questo sport attraverso le scuole primarie e avvicinarlo così ai bambini. Arriviamo all'Alligatore.
Circa 400 bambini sono passati per il club in 2 anni di lavoro. Oltre a Sombor, dove si trova la sede del club, sono state stabilite sezioni in altri luoghi, Vrbas, Kula, Odzaci, Srpski Miletic, Bajmok ...
Questo metodo ha prodotto due nuovi club, Predator di Vrbas e Red Eagles di Sombor .
Per mantenere vivo l'interesse dei bambini, ogni mese vengono organizzati tornei, dove abbiamo avuto l'opportunità di ospitare club di hockey. Quest'anno siamo persino riusciti a trasformare squadre di altri luoghi in squadre e tenere un campionato durante il quale i bambini sono riusciti a giocare più di 50 partite in un periodo di tre mesi.
6) In recent times the Slovak Cup has been growing and going strong, which is allowing you to get to know a lot, what do you think?
6) As the selector of the national team under 15, I had the opportunity to take the children on tours to Croatia and Slovakia, where we had excellent relations with our hosts. It was a fantastic lesson for us and we saw what it takes to reach some basic level of functioning. You know, we in Serbia have only one fence for the field and that is what makes working conditions the most difficult for us. Without financial support and sponsors, it is very difficult to provide children with the most basic conditions.
There is no company in Serbia that sells equipment for our sport, so we are forced to go abroad even for balls. I have to take this opportunity, because I know that you are accompanied by a lot of manufacturers of floorball equipment, and I invite them to open their representative office in Serbia. We have 7 million inhabitants and I believe that these companies would find their interest.
6) In questi ultimi tempi sta crescendo e sta andando Forte la Slovak Cup, che sta permettendo di farvi conoscere moltissimo, cosa ne pensi?
6) Come selezionatrice della nazionale under 15, ho avuto l'opportunità di portare i bambini in tournée in Croazia e Slovacchia, dove abbiamo avuto ottimi rapporti con i nostri ospiti.
È stata una lezione fantastica per noi e abbiamo visto cosa serve per raggiungere un livello di funzionamento di base. Sapete, noi in Serbia abbiamo una sola recinzione per il campo ed è questo che ci rende le condizioni di lavoro più difficili.
Senza sostegno finanziario e sponsor, è molto difficile fornire ai bambini le condizioni più elementari.
Non c'è azienda in Serbia che vende attrezzature per il nostro sport, quindi siamo costretti ad andare all'estero. Devo cogliere questa opportunità, perché so che sei accompagnato da molti produttori di attrezzature per floorball e li invito ad aprire il loro ufficio di rappresentanza in Serbia.
Abbiamo 7 milioni di abitanti e credo che queste aziende troverebbero il loro interesse.
7) Now the whole floorball is stopped due to the pandemic, but before the break how were your Alligators doing?
7) Like the whole world, this pandemic hit us hard. The number of children has halved and we have been prevented from entering schools. Until recently, we worked outdoors, but the cold weather and frequent rains have now prevented us from doing so. We try to provide children with training halls, but even that requires additional costs. Unfortunately, the situation is difficult everywhere, but we work with children individually through various social networks.
I insist that children work individually and that they are additionally educated through YouTube and Instagram
7) Ora tutto il floorball è fermo per la pandemia, ma prima della sosta come stavano andando i tuoi Alligator?
7) Come il mondo intero, questa pandemia ci ha colpito duramente. Il numero dei bambini si è dimezzato e ci è stato impedito di entrare nelle scuole.
Fino a poco tempo fa lavoravamo all'aperto, ma ora il freddo e le frequenti piogge ci hanno impedito di farlo. Cerchiamo di fornire ai bambini delle sale di formazione, ma anche questo richiede costi aggiuntivi.
Sfortunatamente, la situazione è difficile ovunque, ma lavoriamo con i bambini individualmente attraverso vari social network. Insisto che i bambini lavorino individualmente e che vengano ulteriormente istruiti tramite YouTube e Instagram.
8) To get to know you better and to get to know your team better, what should be done? If someone in your area wants to start playing Floorball with Alligators, what should they do? Who should you contact?
8) Of great importance for the club and for floorball in Serbia are contacts with clubs from the region and clubs across Europe ready to cooperate. We may not have top conditions, we have a lack of certain equipment, but we have a large number of children who are true friends and ready to host friends from any part of Europe. Our children have found themselves in this sport and want to progress as much as possible. We also eat well in Serbia, we have excellent cuisine and quality food, and for coaches and older teams in Serbia, the best time in the whole of Europe is guaranteed 😁😁😁
8) Per conoscervi meglio e per conoscere meglio la vostra squadra, cosa si deve fare? Se qualcuno dalle tue parti vuole cominciare a giocare a Floorball con gli Alligator, cosa deve fare? A chi deve contattare?
8) Di grande importanza per il club e per il floorball in Serbia sono i contatti con club della regione e club di tutta Europa pronti a collaborare.
Potremmo non avere le migliori condizioni, abbiamo una mancanza di certe attrezzature, ma abbiamo un gran numero di bambini che sono veri amici e pronti ad ospitare amici da qualsiasi parte d'Europa.
I nostri bambini si sono trovati in questo sport e vogliono progredire il più possibile. Mangiamo bene anche in Serbia, abbiamo un'ottima cucina e cibo di qualità, e per gli allenatori e le squadre più anziane in Serbia, il miglior periodo in tutta Europa è garantito 😁😁😁
