Floorballmaniatv torna in Svezia e, questa volta, ci si torna al femminile. Un vera top player, nominata miglior giocatrice di floorball femminile per 4 volte, dalla rivista Innebandy, nonché, migliore giocatrice di tutti i tempi. 

Avete capito di chi stiamo parlando? 

Nata a Sandviken, il 20 giugno 1991, centro della Nazionale Svedese, Capitano indiscusso, 6 volte campione del mondo con la sua Svezia, vi presentiamo Anna Wijk.

1) ciao Anna grazie per aver accettato la nostra intervista. In Italia sei una giocatrice molto apprezzata, racconta ai nostri lettori, chi sei e cosa fai nella vita, oltre che giocare a Floorball.

Ho 28 anni e sono un insegnante. Ma l'anno scorso ho lavorato come giovane responsabile in KAIS Mora IF. Adoro tutti i tipi di sport. In estate adoro giocare a golf con amici e parenti.

2) A quanti anni scopri e cominci a giocare a Floorball? Hai sempre giocato nel tuo ruolo di centro, oppure da piccola giocavi in altre parti del campo?

Ho iniziato a giocare a Floorball quando avevo cinque anni. Quando ero giovane ho provato tutte le posizioni, ma mi piaceva avanzare, perché mi piaceva segnare gol ecco perché sono attaccante.

3) Ci racconti il tuo esordio nella Svenska Superligan? Quando è avvenuto? E con quale squadra?

Era con IKSU nel 2008, avevo diciassette anni. Abbiamo giocato contro l'Örnsköldsvik in trasferta, abbiamo vinto la partita e ho fatto un assist.

È stato grandioso giocare nei panni di un giovane giocatore in una delle migliori squadre del mondo.

4) Dal 2006 al 2010, cambi 4 squadre, poi nel 2010 arrivi nel KAIS Mora IF, come reputi la tua attuale squadra? Come ti trovi con le tue compagne? Perché la maglia numero 5?

KAIS Mora è la squadra più vicina al mio cuore e l'intera organizzazione significa molto per me.

Siamo una grande famiglia KAIS Mora. Gioco con il numero 5 grazie a mio fratello, ha giocato con il numero 5 quando era giovane ed io volevo essere bravo come lui. 

Ecco perché ho la sua maglia.

5) Alle giovani atlete che entrano nella tua squadra, cosa dici quando sono in campo con te?
             

Fai le tue cose e, fai tutte le cose che hai fatto prima di venire qui. Ti volevamo per il giocatore che sei!          

6) Nell'ultimo mondiale sei stata eletta miglior giocatore MVP e 24 punti totali, ti aspettavi un torneo così per te?

Non me l'aspettavo, ma ovviamente l'ho sognato. Sapevo che era il mio ultimo campionato e volevo che fosse fantastico.

Ma non importa che tipo di gioco sia, faccio sempre del mio meglio.

7) Nel Mondiale 2019, sì è giocata una finale bellissima contro la Svizzera, vinta con un gol bellissimo in over time, che ricordi hai di quella finale? Ti aspettavi una Svizzera così forte? 

È stato fantastico giocare a quel gioco. La folla era incredibile e il gioco era serrato e duro.

La Svizzera ha disputato un ottimo torneo e prima della partita sapevamo che sarebbe stata dura. È uno dei match più belli, che abbia mai giocato.

8) Quest'anno il coronavirus ha bloccato tutti i campionati, si riprenderà nella prossima stagione, cosa ti aspetti dalla tua squadra? 

Cosa ne pensi invece di questo momento così difficile per tutto il mondo?

È davvero noioso e triste non poter fare playoff. Ma l'uomo e la salute vengono prima di tutto.

È un momento difficile, ma sono sicura che ce la faremo insieme. Tutti devono ascoltare le autorità e cercare di contribuire al mondo e fare ciò che è meglio per la società.

9) In Italia sei un idolo per le giovani ragazze che giocano a Floorball, potresti fargli un saluto? E se dovessi dargli un consiglio, cosa gli diresti.

È così bello da sentire, manda la migliore fortuna a tutti i giovani giocatori in Italia da me.

 Il mio miglior consiglio è di dare tutto ciò che hai in ogni allenamento, non importa se si tratta di passare, tirare o correre. Dai sempre il 100%. E il più importante, assicurati di divertirti.

Floorballmaniatv returns to Sweden and this time we go back to women. A very top player, named best female floorball player 4 times, by Innebandy magazine, as well as best player of all time. 

Do you understand who we are talking about? Born in Sandviken, June 20, 1991, center of the Swedish national team, undisputed captain, 6 times world champion with her Sweden, we introduce you to Anna Wijk. 

1) hello Anna thanks for accepting our interview. In Italy you are a very appreciated player, she tells our readers who you are and what you do in life, as well as playing Floorball.
 

I’m 28 years old and I’m an educated teacher. But last year I worked as youth responsible in KAIS Mora IF. I love all kind of sports. In the summer I love to play golf with friends and family.

2) How old are you and start playing Floorball? Have you always played in your center role, or did you play in other parts of the field as a child?

I started play Floorball when I was five years old. When I was young I tried all positions, but I liked forward or center most because I liked to score goals. 

3) Can you tell us about your debut in the Svenska Superligan? When did it happen? And with which team?

It was with IKSU in 2008, I was seventeen years old. We played against Örnsköldsvik away, we won the game and I made an assist. It was so big to play as a Young player in one of the best teams in the world.

4) From 2006 to 2010, you change 4 teams, then in 2010 you arrive in KAIS Mora IF, how do you think your current team is? How do you feel with your companions? Why shirt number 5?

KAIS Mora is the team closest to my heart and the whole organization means a lot to me. We are a big KAIS Mora-family. I play with Number 5 because of my brother, he played with number 5 when he was young and I wanted to be as good as him. I looked up to him!
 

5) To the young athletes who join your team, what do you say when I am on the field with you?

Do your thing and do all the things that you did before you came here. We wanted you because of the player you are! 

6) in the last world you were elected the best MVP player and 24 total points, did you expect a tournament like this for you?

I Didn’t expect that, but of course I dreamt about it. I knew it was my last word championship and wanted it to be great. But it doesn’t matter what kind of game it is, I always do my best.

7) In the 2019 World Cup, a beautiful final was played against Switzerland, won with a beautiful goal in over time, what memories do you have of that final? Did you expect such a strong Switzerland?

It was so cool to play that game. The crowd were incredible and the game was tight and tough. Switzerland did a really good tournament and we knew before the game that it was going to be tough. It’s one of the coolest game I’ve ever played. 

8) This year the coronavirus has blocked all the championships, it will recover in the next season, what do you expect from your team? What do you think of this difficult moment for the whole world?

It’s really boring and sad that we couldn’t do playoffs. But the human and health comes first. It’s a hard time right now, but I’m sure that we will get trough this together. Everyone must listen to authorities and try to contribute to the world and do what is best for the society. Stay safe everyone!

9) In Italy you are an idol for young girls playing Floorball, could you say hello to him? And if you had to give him advice, what would you say to him.

That so nice to hear, send the best of luck to all young players in Italy from me. My best advice is to give everything you have in every training, it doesn’t matter if it’s about passing, shooting or running. Always give 100%. And the most important, make sure to have fun.
