1) Hi I hope you are well after this pandemic period. Floorballmaniatv is very happy to always discover reality in the world of floorball, we would like to know more about Lokomotiv. But let's start with you, tell us who you are and what you do in life? What role do you have in this team?
Cześć, jestem I trenerem drużyny KS Lokomotiv Czerwieńsk, która występuje na co dzień w Polskiej Lidze Unihokeja, ostatni sezon graliśmy w najwyższej klasie rozgrywkowej. Następny sezon planowana jest inna organizacja i na ten moment nie wiemy, w której lidze będziemy występować.
Hi, I'm the first coach of the KS Loko KS Lokomotiv Czerwieńsk team motiv Czerwieńsk team, which performs in the Polish Floorball League, last season we played in the highest class.
Next one is still planned and at that moment we do not know in which league we will play.
2)Where does your team reside? Where do you train? How many members do you have?
Jako trener jestem odpowiedzialny za kilka drużyn. Nasz klub prowadzi szkolenie zawodników w wieku seniorskim ligowym oraz amatorskim w Czerwieńsku (pod Zieloną Górą) , szkolenie młodzieży odbywa się w jednej z dzielnic miasta Zielonej Góry – Chynowie. W sumie objęliśmy treningiem około 100 osób.
As a trainer I am responsible for several teams. Our club leads training of senior league and amateur squad in Czerwieńsk (near Zielona Góra), youth training takes place in one of the districts of the city of Zielona Góra - Chynów. In total, we covered about 100 people in training.
3)In which championships are you engaged, with your teams? Do you have separate leagues between men and women? Or do you play with mixed teams?
W Polsce zespoły żeńskie i męskie grają osobno w każdej kategorii wiekowej. Nie gra się u nas mixów, no chyba, że na turniejach amatorskich. W tym momencie prawdopodobne jest, że w lidze męskiej seniorów będą 3 szczeble rozgrywek: ekstraliga, 1 liga i liga amatorska. Jednak nie jest to zbyt rozwinięte.
Co rok mamy różne zmiany organizacyjne i kluby do końca nigdy nie wiedzą, w której lidze będą grały. Granie w naszej lidze jest bardzo drogie, bo do przejechania jest bardzo duża ilość kilometrów, opłaty sezonowe są wysokie a Polski Związek Unihokeja nie pomaga kompletnie w żaden sposób drużynom.
Dlatego nasz klub musi pozyskiwać sponsorów oraz pieniądze z urzędów. Liga żeńska jest jedna i ma jedynie 8 drużyn, jednak zawodniczki, które tam grają są bardzo mocne.
Na wszystkich Mistrzostwach Świata Polki zdobywają bardzo wysokie miejsca. Aktualnie: u19 – 4 miejsce a seniorki 5. Biorąc pod uwagę fakt, że mają bardzo mało meczy to są bardzo mocne.
In Poland, female and male teams play separately in each age category. Mixes are not played with us, except at amateur tournaments.
At this point, it is possible that there will have 3 levels in the senior men's league: extraleague, first league and amateur league. However, this is not very developed. Every year we have different organizational changes and clubs never know in which league they will play.
Playing in our league is very expensive because there are a lot of kilometers to travel, seasonal fees are high and the Polish Floorball Association does not help teams in any way at all. That is why our club has to looking for sponsors and money from public projects.
The women's league is one and has only 8 teams, but the players who play there are very tough. Polish women win the highest places at all World Championships. Currently: u19 - 4th and seniors 5th . Given the fact that they have very few games, they are very strong.
4)How did the last Championships for Lokomotiv go?
Ostatni sezon był bardzo trudny dla nas. Zajęliśmy miejsce 11 na 14 drużyn. Jednak wiele meczy przegrywaliśmy brakiem doświadczenia.
Mieliśmy pojedynki z mocnymi drużynami, którzy byli faworytami, a do samego końca walczyliśmy o zwycięstwo. Przegraliśmy z Mistrzami Polski „Górale Nowy Targ” w ostatniej tercji dopiero 10:12, z Olimpią Gdańsk 1:4 .
Mamy bardzo odświeżony młody skład, a naszym celem jest budowanie zespołu na wiele lat do przodu. Zebraliśmy dużo nowego doświadczenia.
Last season was very difficult for us. We took 11 out of 14 teams. I think we lost many matches without experience. We fought strong teams who were favorites, and we fought for victory to the very end. We lost to Polish Champions Górale Nowy Targ in the last part of the match only 10:12.
With Olimpia Gdańsk 1: 4. And still close games with Sanok, Łochów, Tychy and much more . We have a very young team. Our goal is to build a team for many years ahead. We gathered a lot of new experience.
5)Is Floorball in Poland becoming popular? How do you find Players? Do you organize camps or do demonstration lessons in schools?
Unihokej w Polsce jest popularny głównie w szkołach oraz w niektórych regionach. Szczególnie tam gdzie gra się w hokeja na lodzie.
My mieszkamy w okręgu zachodnim Polski i tam również jest bardzo duże zainteresowanie Unihokejem. Istnieją zespoły dziecięce, amatorskie, szkolne, juniorskie oraz seniorskie. Nasz region jest bardzo mocno zainteresowany tym sportem. Dzieci pozyskujemy w szkołach prowadząc swoje zajęcia.
Nigdy z ilością młodzieży nie było problemów. Staramy się działać w formie promocji w różnych miejscach, na różnych eventach. Jesteśmy regularnie w bardzo dużym radiu, gazetach lokalnych a na nasz mecz zawsze przychodzi publiczna telewizja. Kibiców przychodzi średnio 102 osoby. Przy założeniu, że nasza hala jest dość niewielka. Mamy bardzo dobre warunki do gry i trenowania.
Nasza hala w Czerwieńsku posiada swój własny hotel i bazę treningową. Korzystamy organizując obozy dla siebie ale też m.in. kadra Polski Kobiet przyjeżdża do nas regularnie. Problemem w Polsce głównie są pieniądze, dlatego wiele drużyn gra jedynie na poziomie amatorskim.
Floorball in Poland is popular mainly in schools and in some regions. Especially where its playing ice hockey. We live in the western district of Poland and there is also a great interest in Floorball. There are children's, amateur, schools, junior and senior teams.
Our region is very much interested in this sport. We acquire children in schools by conducting our classes. There have never been problems with the number of young people. We try to act in the form of promotions in different places, at various events.
We are regularly on a very large radio station, local newspapers and public television always comes to our match. On average, 102 people come to supporters (in pick 150), especially that our hall is quite small. We have very good conditions to play and train.
Our hall in Czerwieńsk has its own hotel and training base. We use organizing camps for ourselves and also Polish Women's representation come to us regularly.
The main problem in Poland is money, that's why there are so many teams that only want to play at an amateur level.
6)Let's talk about the national team, how are the players selected by you? Are there rallies open to all or is there a selection by the CT?
Niestety Polska w męskim unihokeju osiąga coraz słabsze wyniki.
Ostatnio mieliśmy jeden wielki sukces, udało się naszym chłopcom wygrać z Estonią. W historii męskiego unihokeja w naszym kraju najwyższe miejsce osiągnęliśmy dawno temu w u19.
Dziś Polacy mieszczą się na miejscach 12-16 co jest bardzo słabym wynikiem i wielkim zawodem. Kibicujemy im wiernie. W naszym kraju odbywa się selekcja – trener, który jest Czechem Jan Holovka organizują duże zloty, na których zawodnicy są sprawdzani.
Klub wyznacza często zawodników, którzy się nadają na takie zgrupowani. W reprezentacji kobiet, trenerzy są bardzo długo i dość dobrze znają zawodniczki, więc tam selekcji dokonuje tylko trener.
Unfortunately, Poland is getting weaker and worse in men's floorball. After all, we've recently had one great success, our male team managed to win with Estonia. In the history of men's floorball in our country we achieved the highest place in u19, but it was long time ago.
Today, Poles are in places 12-16 which is a very poor result and a great wail for us. We support them faithfully. In our country selection takes place - the coach who is Czech Jan Holovka organize large camp, on which players are verify.
The clubs designates players who are enough good for national team. In women's representation, the coaches are very long and know the players quite well, so only the coach makes the selection.
7)what would you say to a mom who has some doubts about sports for her son, to make him choose the floorball?
W naszym mieście jest bardzo prosto wprowadzić nowy sport dla dziecka.
Bo udało nam się przez lata osiągnąć duże zainteresowanie unihokejem. W Czerwieńsku, Zielonej Górze i okolicach jest bardzo małe zainteresowanie piłką nożna. Dzieci chodząc z rodzicami na nasze mecze sami chcą spróbować. Zawsze podkreślamy, że unihokej jest ogólnorozwojowy i bardzo bezpieczny.
Sami też dbamy, żeby dzieci miały wszystko czego zapragną. Uczestniczą w zawodach jeżdżą na mecze za granicę i po całej Polsce. Niestety, w naszym kraju sport uprawia bardzo mało ludzi.
In our city it is very easy to introduce a new sport for a child. Because we've managed to achieve great interest in floorball for years. It’s because, in our region we have very few interest of football.
Children going to our matches with their parents want to try it themselves.
We always say that floorball affects to general physical and very safe. We also make sure that children have everything they want. They participate in competitions, they go to matches all over Poland and another country’s. Unfortunately, very few people train sport in our country.
8)Who, in your opinion, are the people who have given and are giving much to the movement of the Polish floorball?
W historii było dużo takich osób. Przez lata pojawiło się kilku dobrych trenerów, którzy chcieli się uczyć. Byli zawodnicy, którzy przyjeżdżali z mocniejszych lig i nas uczyli. Niestety w wyniku różnych działań rozwój unihokeja w Polsce się zablokował i potrzeba byłoby zdecydowanych działań, żeby to poprawić.
There have been many such people in history. Over the years, there were several good trainers who wanted to learn something new.
There were players who came from stronger leagues and taught us. Unfortunately, as a result of various actions, the development of floorball in Poland has been blocked. We need very certain decisions to improve it.
9)When will the championships in Poland resume?
Sezon 2019/2020 zakończył się przed faza play off, więc mieliśmy bardzo długą przerwę w rozgrywkach, kolejny sezon ruszy pod koniec września. W tym momencie nie dostaliśmy jeszcze żadnych informacji na ten temat.
The 2019/2020 season ended before the play off’s, so we had a very long break in the competition. The next season will start at the end of September. At this point, we have not yet received any information on this subject.
10) If a child or an adult wants to play with you, what should he do? Do you have foreign players in the senior squad? What is your goal for. Next championship?
Oczywiście każdy może spróbować z nami grać, w związku z tym mamy sekcje hobby, gdzie pomagamy nowym osobom wejść w świat unihokeja.
Młodzież trafia do klubu UKS Chynów w Zielonej Górze. Mamy kilku zawodników co występowali za granicą, głównie w Bundeslidze, natomiast nie mamy żadnego obcokrajowca.
Celem na przyszły sezon jest zbudowanie stabilności finansowej, dużo szersze szkolenie młodzieży oraz dobry występ w lidze polskiej, na konkrety przyjdzie czas, na krótko przed sezonem.
Of course, everyone can try to play with us, so we have a hobby section, where we help new people enter the world of floorball. Youth goes to the UKS Chynów club in Zielona Góra.
We have several players who have played in another country, mainly in the Bundesliga, but we have no foreigner.
The goal for the next season is to build financial stability, much wider training of young people and a good performance in the Polish league, the time will come for concrete (main goal etc), shortly before the season.
